In as little as 35 hours of flight training, you can become a private pilot. This will allow you to fly anywhere in the United States and is the first step to becoming a professional pilot! Being a private pilot has many advantages. You can take a loved one, children, friends, colleagues or anyone you want to any location. Imagine flying a spouse to the Channel Isles (or Key West if you are holidaying or living in Florida) for dinner and back in time for the 11 o’clock news. All of this and more is possible with your private pilot license.

As these courses are individually arranged the duration does vary from one student to another. You will need to complete a minimum of 40 hours flying time and 40 hours Ground Study. If you have already read and fully understood the subject matter of the 7 exam topics then the course can be completed in as little as 14 days! In general people average 8 – 12 weeks to gain their PPL.
As with most Aviation connected courses, you will need a good command of the English language and may be tested on this prior to commencing training.
You will need a class 3 medical to begin flight training. We can arrange this for you.
