A great example of how not to do it!

Let me say a big thank you to you traffic control for giving us this example

Although your first priority is of course being able to fly the aeroplane and focusing on that at all times as your number one, please do not underestimate the importance of proper and accurate radio communications. A great many lives have been lost and huge amounts of damage sustained just by getting this element wrong. We are happy to give pilots appropriate refresher courses as well as teach from the ground up to ensure that you don’t make the same mistakes as the pilot in the above example and put other air traffic at risk as well as yourself.

As soon as I got my PPL I was so happy but also extremely nervous about taking people up in the new Robin. Not because I had any doubts in my flying ability but I found the communications required quite intimidating and probably my weakest point. After a few sessions with Charles was far more confident and It has increased my level of enjoyment from flying quite considerably.

It was also a nice surprise that when necessary he was able to communicate with my local airport ATC in French. Thanks Charles.
